I have looked at others that are/were listed and compared them to the rating system. In my judgement this is in excellent condition. It was made between 1950 and 1952,making it about 70 years old. It was made in 3/16" scale for AF link coupler freight cars and also any passenger cars with the same coupler. Some operators have modified one coupler on a freight car to a knuckle coupler in order to run KC cars with this diesel. There are no cracks, dents or breaks. The front end link bar is off; but, I think it can easily be replaced. The truck frames are very nice and clean. It has not been tested and is sold as is.
